Orlando is world-famous for its theme parks. They’re fun at any time of year, but come Halloween they’re a great opportunity to put on a costume and actually enter the worlds you love! Here are some of the cinematic worlds you can enter at theme parks in Orlando.

STRANGER THINGS

The Duffer Brothers’ Netflix hit series Stranger Things is 80s nostalgia in concentrated form, channeling the best of Steven King, D&D, and Steven Spielberg style children’s adventures into one completely compelling series. The town of Hawkins Indiana feels real to everyone who grew up in the 80s and is tantalizingly close to anyone who didn’t.

Well, if you visit Universal Studios during their Halloween Horror Nights event, you’ll have a chance to explore Hawkins and the Upside Down in their incredible Stranger Things haunted house! You can also explore the New York of The Ghostbusters and Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses. Scary fun!

HARRY POTTER

Wish you could explore the school grounds of Hogwarts? Then join hundreds of thousands of ardent fans by visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! So big it encompasses two separate theme parks, you can go between Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure using the Hogwart’s Express! Brew Butterbeer, craft a magic want all your own and even find out where you belong by using the Sorting Hat!

STAR WARS

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the new hit theme Park at Disney World, and it’s been designed to make you feel like you’ve stepped onto one of the many rough and tumble planets in the Star Wars universe! Create your own lightsaber and even take the Millennium Falcon on a smuggling run!

Of course, you need a place to put on your costume to truly inhabit these fantastical worlds. Book a stay at Silver Lakes Resort for your portal to all your Orlando adventures.
